Imagine Draco worrying about you after the Battle of Hogwarts
Draco Malfoy sat inbetween
his parents in the Great Hall. His mother was gripping his arm whilst his father,
with one elbow resting on the table, had his hand to his lower face as if to
subtly hide it from the people around them. Both of them were looking nervously
about and trying to avoid eye contact. All of them were unsure if they should
even still be here: any other death eater who had survived the attack had
either been taken to Azkaban or managed to flee. But the Malfoy family
remained, unsure of their place in this changed world.
Everyone around them was
eating and drinking, talking and laughing: celebrating the miracle that was the
defeat of You-Know-Who, right at the height of his power. No one spoke to them,
or even acknowledged their presence.
Draco, as much as he tried
to keep looking down, was looking around, scanning the hall with greater and
greater urgency for one person. He was worried because he hadn’t yet seen you.
And as much as he tried to push himself to do it, he couldn’t bring himself to
look amongst the dead lying at the far end of the hall.
Finally he thought he
caught a glimpse of your [h/c] hair disappearing through the doors to the
entrance hall. He stood up quickly and both his parents looked at him in
worried confusion.
Imagine Remus being THE BEST when you’re on your period…
It was a Saturday morning and the four of them were in the common room. Outside it was raining heavily and the fire was crackling cheerfully in the fireplace. Sirius and Peter were playing exploding snap whilst James and Remus lounged on the sofa by the fire. The room was crowded and noisy: no one wanted to be outside in this weather and few people saw the point in going to the library at this point in the term so most Gryffindors were in the common room.
Lily came down the stairs from the seventh year girl’s dormitory and James sat up a little straighter and tussled his hair in an automatic gesture. Remus rolled his eyes and went back to reading his book.
“Hey guys,” Lily said, sitting down on the sofa next to James who had hastily made room for her; “[Y/N] isn’t feeling too well today so be nice to her ok?”
“She must have what I had last week,” Sirius said, carefully placing another card on the already large pile of cards. Lily seemed to find this comment very amusing and laughed.
“Yeah as if you could have what [Y/N] has right now?” She said between her giggles. James and Sirius exchanged a confused look. Remus looked over the top of his book and raised an eyebrow. Peter put another card on the pile and let out a yell when the cards flew everywhere.
“Haha,” Sirius said, turning his attention back to the game, “I win!”
“Guys just be extra nice to [Y/N] this morning ok?” Lily said, “I need to go to the library now but I’ll be back soon. You coming?” She added, directing her question at James. James looked completely taken aback by this.
“Are you sure you wanna go to the library,” he asked, “I mean the two of us could just go somewhere private and - ”
“No no,” Lily said, standing up and gathering some books she had left on the table from the night before, “I actually need to get some work done for a change. You can come but only if you want to study.”
James considered this for a moment. Remus looked over the top of his book again to watch in amusement at the agony of James’ choice: be with Lily but studying, or laze around without Lily. In the end he chose the latter.
“Nah I’ll stay here,” James said finally; “But you’ll be back this afternoon right?” Lily rolled her eyes then walked to the entrance hole.
“I’ll see you guys at lunch,” she called back as she crawled through the hole, “And be nice to [Y/N]!” She added and then she was gone.
“What’s wrong with [Y/N]?” Peter asked. Clearly he had been so engrossed in his and Sirius’s game that he had completely missed the entire conversation with Lily.
“I dunno,” James said, “I think she might have what Sirius had the other week.”
“She does not have what Sirius had the other week,” Remus said, putting down his book to address his friend; “Clearly it’s her time of the month.”
At his words both James and Sirius went pale. Peter just looked confused.
“Her time of the month?” He asked then leaned in to whisper; “Like your time of the month Moony?”
Remus rolled his eyes and picked up his book again.
“Yeah sure Wormtail,” Sirius said sarcastically; “[Y/N] has been a werewolf all this time and none of us knew about it.”
“Sirius please be quiet,” Remus said, slightly agitated; “It’s a crowded common room.”
“You’ve got that right,” came a disgruntled voice by his shoulder. The four boys jumped in surprise. Standing by the sofa was [Y/N] and she looked very grumpy. Wrapped around her like a shawl or a cloak was a large furry blanket, and she was holding a hot water bottle. Remus quickly made room for her on the sofa and she slumped down with a groan.
“I was almost gonna spend the day in bed,” she told them, sliding the hot water bottle over her lower stomach; “But Lily convinced me to get up – staying in bed all day always makes you feel about a billion times worse.”
“I don’t understand,” Peter said, “Are you ill?” [Y/N] gave him a scowl. James and Sirius exchanged a look. They had no idea what to do themselves but at least they were sensible enough to finally understand what was going on.
“Fancy a game?” Sirius asked James, indicating the exploding snap cards.
“Sure,” James said, “Might as well now that Lily has left us.”
“Ugh no no,” [Y/N] said, “I cannot stand that game. It’s so loud and annoying. There is no way you are playing that near me.”
“Come on [Y/N],” Peter said, “Stop being so unreasonable.” Sirius and James exchanged a look of mixed horror and amusement. Remus hid himself behind his book as [Y/N] turned on Peter.
“What did you say to me?!”
“I… I just… think you’re being a bit unreasonable is all…” Peter said, his voice trailing off when he noticed Remus subtly shaking his head at him.
“I am in agony Peter,” [Y/N] said to him, her hand clenching almost unwittingly around her wand; “There is blood pouring out of my vagina as the lining of my womb physically breaks apart. I am perpetually tired and hungry and emotional. I cried over a broken quill for an hour yesterday and I lost it at Lily for breathing too loudly last night. Do not test me.”
Peter opened and closed his mouth in horror. Both Sirius and James look speechless too. Remus took in a deep breath.
“Why don’t you three go to our dormitory or something?” He suggested, reasonably.
“Don’t need to tell me twice Moony,” Sirius said, and the three of them hurried up the stairs to the seventh year boy’s dormitory. [Y/N] glared at their retreating backs before settling back on the sofa, her legs rested across Remus’ lap.
He got out his wand and with a flick summoned over from a table a large bar of Honeyduke’s chocolate.
“Here,” he said, handing [Y/N] the whole bar, “It won’t solve all your problems but maybe it’ll make you feel a little better.”
“Remus,” [Y/N] said with a sigh; “I think you’re the only person I can stand to be around at this time. God why is everyone else so annoying?!”
“Don’t worry,” Remus assured her; “It’s not just because you’re on your period: I can assure you that they are all genuinely that annoying all the time.”
[Y/N] laughed as she opened the wrapper of the chocolate and Remus smiled to see her happy. He leant over and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek. She batted him away.
“Yeah, I’m still feeling very resentful to anyone without a vagina,” she said; “Don’t push it Remus.”
She took a large bite of the chocolate, letting out a sigh of contentment and Remus successfully hid his smirk behind his book.
A/N: Sooo I am on my period right now and all I want is Remus Lupin to give me chocolate and love.
does anyone read “y/n” as a character who isn’t you but a whole different person who is like the perfect version of “you” that you want to be or am i just weird ?
Carzekiel drabble (Carol pov) set just after their scene in 8x06…
Carol walked out of the throne room dry eyed. She didn’t stop
to acknowledge Jerry or Henry; she couldn’t. If she let them stop her, if she
let them ask her how the King was, their King, her King; then she would break. And
that could not happen. There couldn’t be another broken person in the Kingdom,
not when so much was at stake.
So I haven’t written in awhile (although I have been doing lots of planning for requests) but if any of you guys like the walking dead then you might like this I wrote for my secondary blog.
If not then take it as a sign that I’m writing again so more Harry Potter stuff may be being posted soon!! ;) Xx
Imagine joining the Order of the Phoenix with the
Marauders…
Bonfire night had only been a few days ago and it was a
cold autumn day. The grounds of Hogwarts were almost frosty but not quite.
Instead the ground was a slightly muddy green, speckled with the few fallen
leaves which had not been swept up into the neat piles that surrounded the
castle walls. It wasn’t a particularly windy day but there was still a decent
enough breeze to cause the open gates to creak ever so slightly in the wind.
There was a loud crack and two figures appeared just
beyond the boundary of the grounds. It was Sirius Black and yourself, arriving
back at Hogwarts for the first time since you’d finished school, to meet with Dumbledore.
Sirius took a deep breath as he looked up at the castle
and felt a rush of nostalgia and contentment. It hadn’t even been five months
since you’d all left Hogwarts but he hadn’t realised how much he’d missed the
place until this moment. He looked over to you: you too were staring up at the
castle with a smile.
“It’s good to be back isn’t it,” he said. You nodded.
“Yes it is,” you said, slipping your hand into his, “But
it’s also so strange. The world seems so much darker now.”
